My name is SOH, the founder and photographer behind OKINI PHOTO TOUR. Originally from Hyogo and currently based in Osaka, I offer photo tours for international travelers mainly in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo. Today, 99% of my clients are visitors from overseas, mainly from the United States, Europe, Australia, and other countries around the world. I believe that photography is not just about taking pictures — it is part of a person’s life story. That is why I focus not only on creating beautiful images, but also on capturing moments where my clients themselves become the main character of their journey in Japan. My biggest strength is creating cinematic photography that highlights both the unique atmosphere of Japan and the individuality of each client. I especially specialize in capturing scenes inspired by Japan’s neon streets, hidden alleyways in Osaka and Tokyo, and the quiet traditional atmosphere of Kyoto — creating photos that feel like scenes from a movie. Rather than simply making the subject stand out, I aim to create images where both the person and the surrounding environment work together as one complete visual story. My editing style focuses on cool, cinematic tones that make both the subject and background look equally striking, day or night. I also value the experience itself, not just the final photos. Especially for solo travelers, I try to create an atmosphere where they feel like they’ve made a new friend in Japan, rather than simply hiring a photographer. Whenever possible, I deliver photos during the trip or before clients return home, so they can look back on their memories while traveling back and relive their time in Japan through the images. The happiest moment for me is when clients tell me, “I want to come back to Japan again.”

I primarily photograph foreign tourists in Kyoto. I offer a special experience that blends Kyoto's shrines, temples, and nature⛩️⛰️

I'm Ryoma Izumi, a hiking guide. I'm from Hakuba Village in Nagano Prefecture and have enjoyed mountaineering since childhood. I have experience with hiking in Nepal and high-altitude mountaineering in Pakistan. I take photographs while guiding activities such as hiking and nature experiences. You can enjoy both guided tours and photography in the midst of magnificent nature.

I offer photography tours for international visitors in Osaka and Kyoto. Born and raised in Minoh, Osaka, home of the famous Katsuo-ji Temple, I also spent two years living in London.
